Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 Matte Dial Meters First 

The Rolex Submariner is one of the most iconic sports watches and a model that represents the greatest attributes of the manufacturer.  This example features a “Meters First” matte dial with puffy tritium lume.

The case features a  1.8M serial number dating the watch to circa 1968. The watch is paired on a Rolex 7206 Swiss-made Oyster rivet bracelet with 80 end links that are in great condition dating to 1963. The black bezel has faded over time to a blue grey color. The case has been polished in the past. The hands are service replacements.

The watch does not come with a box or papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
