Benrus 1965 Military reference DTU-2A/P MIL-W-3818B
Based on MilSpec Guidelines, this Benrus is the first iteration of the DTU-2A/P which utilized a parkerized case, black matte dial depicting 12 hour and 24 hour ‘military time’ hour markers as well as luminous indices and hands. The case is a frontloading design, with the movement only accessible after removing the crystal and dial, which minimizes moisture intake.
This watch is from circa 1965, does not include box or papers, has a manual-wind movement (Caliber DR2F2 (2372) made by ETA), and is 34mm in diameter.
