Collector Check In: Augustin Simat

I was going to say: Augustin Simat is a Renaissance man - a talented pianist, teacher, and watch collector who has an amazingly eclectic collection of vintage pieces. He specializes in vintage alarm watches, and I have been fortunate enough to purchase a few Vulcain Crickets in my personal collection from him. In Augustin’s collection you won’t find the standard Rolex models, but instead a wide array of unusual watches from makers such as Nivada Grenchen, Favre-Leuba, Enicar, Universal Geneve, and more. He finds them around the world for the interesting and colorful watches that are not the standard fare. He recently visited us in Palm Beach and we were thrilled to finally meet him in person!
