Ronny Chieng Wears The Latest Rowing Blazers X Seiko

This March, I had the pleasure of joining a photoshoot in Brooklyn by Jared Kocka. He was shooting Rowing Blazers’ latest Seiko collaboration featuring one of my favorite comedians and certified watch nerd, Ronny Chieng. A few months earlier, I met Chieng at the New York Windup Fair where he came by to see Wind Vintage. Chieng was wearing a super fun Mickey Mouse watch and I snapped a photo of him jokingly reaching into the watch display. On the day of this shoot, he ceremonially wore his Seiko 5 Sports “Colorblock” by Rowing Blazers from 2021 which was a special thing to see. The photoshoot was great to witness, as we got to hear Ronny talk about the art form of comedy, watches, and his latest projects. As expected, Kocka’s photographs turned out phenomenal. I also managed to sneak a few macro shots of my own featuring the latest Seikos on Ronny’s wrist.
