Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-010 Box & Papers

The Patek Philippe Nautilus is perhaps the most desired watch on the planet. The introduction of the model marked the first true sports watch from the manufacturer in 1976. Along with the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, it ushered in the world of integrated stainless steel watches which are adored by watch enthusiasts today. This particular model is a reference 5711/1A-010 dating to 2012. The watch comes from the second owner. The case appears to be lightly polished.

We sold this GMT-Master 1675 several years back and it is a fantastic example. Charlie tried to buy it from the collector, but the collector passed. Charlie was initially sad, but then found one for himself that he also loved. Soon after, the collector was practically begging Charlie to buy it, but it was too late as he already had one! It was funny. Perhaps in a few years Charlie will be begging for the next owner to sell him this watch! Only time will tell.
