Heuer Carrera Formula 1 Driver Reference 2447N Unpolished

Vintage Heuer is quite an incredible genre to collect in that we are able to see watches with historic racing provenance. We are thrilled to offer this incredibly special chronograph won by Formula 1 driver Victor "Al" Pease at Sebring 1965. The watch was a gift by the Canadian Racing Association when he qualified to race at Seabring. Al has a unique pedigree in automotive racing, and was the only driver to be disqualified for driving too slow. This reference 2447N is a one of the earliest examples dating to 1963. It features the early white printing. The luminous hands have a very attractive color. The condition is very good and the case is unpolished. The watch comes from one of Al’s family members. It features the original crystal which has some crazing on it. It measures 36 millimeters in diameter and 45mm lug-to-lug. The watch is powered by the Valjoux manual-winding calibre 72.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running great. It includes correspondence from a member of the Pease family regarding the provenance.

De Bethune DB9W Full Set Unpolished

I’m thrilled to offer this exceptional and rare De Bethune DB9W. The white-gold case remains unpolished and it is paired on the original strap and buckle. The watch is a very impressive design and is powered by the calibre DB7009. For those that appreciate the great independent watchmakers, this is a no brainer. It was introduced in 2003 and it has been stated only 9 examples were produced.

The watch comes with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well!

Jaeger-LeCoultre Powerwind Reference E 372 Unpolished

I absolutely love vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces and the present watch is an outstanding example. It is a very cool Powerwind model which appears to be the reference E 372 (E standing for Entache or waterproof). It features a screw-down case back and unpolished case. It measures 37mm in diameter or 45mm lug-to-lug. The case reminds me very much of my personal reference 2983 which Eric found me a few years back! It has a more angular midsection and slightly more aggressive angled lug, giving it a bit more heft on the wrist. It is hard to find vintage JLC models that wear so well from the 1950s, so when one becomes available I am always tempted to keep them.

It features a beautiful warm dial with patina throughout the surface. It features prominent applied numerals which are very attractive. It is powered by the automatic calibre 481. It was recently serviced within the past year by Alkis of Swiss Watch Repair and is running great!

The watch does not come with box and papers. It comes with an Extract from The Archives throught Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Heritage Department.

Casio Yacht Timer TRW-31

This Casio Yacht Timer TRW-31 is a fantastic multi-purpose timepiece. In addtion to the chronograph, the top of the dial incorporates a yacht timer. It is an awesome throwback to those who grew up wearing the Casio wristwatches in middle school and perfect if you have a desire to revisit the past nostalgia of the brand.

Rolex White Dial Datejust Reference 16234 Unpolished

I have found the Rolex Datejust to be one of the most versatile watches a person can have. This 16234 is no exception.

The watch dates to circa 1990 and features a E serial. The case measures 36mm in diameter and is paired on a Jubilee. The bracelet is in good condition and has a bit of stretch. The case is unpolished. It features a very attractive white dial.

We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It just passed a 3 bar water-resistance test. It does not come with box or papers.

F.P.Journe Élégante Platinum Flat Tortue Diamond Set Unpolished Full Set

F.P.Journe has become one of the most sought after and beloved independent watchmakers. Mr. Journe is one of the most significant watchmakers of the past century.

The Élégante is one of the most interesting and ingenious timepieces from the manufacturer. This example is a very rare diamond-set model in platinum. These were produced from 2018-2020. It is powered by the incredible calibre 1210. It is set with “315 brilliant cut white diamonds VVS1 F/G 2.84 carats and 72 black diamonds ~ 0.68 carat”. The case measures 35mm in diameter (40mm in length).

Collectors have stated only a handful were made, but we cannot confirm the exact production number (as Journe does not acknowledge this). This watch comes full set with the original box, instruction manual, and card.

Mathey-Tissot Type XX Big-Eye Chronograph Unpolished Full Set

When you come across them certain watches, you just imagine the chance of encountering another unbelievable example will not occur again. After sourcing a Mathey-Tissot Type XX Chronograph in mid-2020 for collector/photographer GaryG, I am astounded to have located another exceptional example.

In the extremely rare occurrence, this watch is offered “full-set” accompanying its original box and papers! The case is unpolished and is an absolute time capsule from the late 1940s. The dial is absolutely gorgeous with its luminous numerals and black-granular surface. Each of the luminous hands remains intact and features a beautiful-caramel tone.

I am thrilled to offer fantastic watches such as the present example.

Vulcain Cricket Waterprotected Reference S2329A Unpolished

This Vulcain Cricket is a reference S2329A and dates to pre-1964. The dial features the thin “Vulcain” font which is also less compact compared to the earliest models. It features the beautifully applied-faceted hour markers, with luminous stick hands. The case is unpolished. It measures 34mm in diameter (42mm lug-to-lug).

The watch dates to the early to mid-1950s and is powered by the Calibre 120’s successor the MSR S2.

Citizen Bullhead Chronograph Automatic Unpolished

This Aquastar Regate Reference 4000N is a killer dive and an awesome alternative for those who appreciate aquatic timepieces. The watch is unpolished and features a great angular case design. It is paired on a "Tropic" strap. It measures 37mm in diameter (47mm lug-to-lug).

There are few things I appreciate more than a modern dive watch. This Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe reference 5000 0240 O52A is one of those watches! It is a ceramic model sold in 2021. It has an amazing blue dial. It is in mint condition. Everyone will respect you, and you will take great joy in knowing you got the watch at a discount!

Rolex White Dial Datejust Reference 1603 Unpolished

I have found the Rolex Datejust to be one of the most versatile watches a person can have and the simplicity in this white-dial reference 1603 is so beautiful.

The watch dates to 1974 and features a 4.02M serial. The case measures 36mm in diameter and is period-correct Rolex Jubilee 62510H bracelet.

The watch has an unpolished case. It does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history of this watch, but it is running great and keeping excellent time. It just passed a water resistance test of 3 bar.
