Patek Philippe Reference 3940J 2nd Series w/ Extract Unpolished
The Patek Philippe reference 3940 perpetual calendar is one of the most elegant complicated timepieces one can find from any manufacturer. This particular example is in yellow gold featuring the highly desirable 2nd series dial. The dial is English and has beautiful serifs for the month and day abbreviati∂ons in the registers.
This watch features the thin self-winding calibre 240Q with microrotor. This example dates to circa 1988. The case is 36mm. The case is unpolished. It never had a display back, as seen in the early examples of the reference 3940.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 Reference 277.8.62 Unpolished
This Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 is one of my personal favorite Reverso models. The dial layout and absence of branding is taken from the early Reversos of the 1930s and is a very pure design. Additionally, the sword hands make for a very handsome look. The watch is paired on an aftermarket strap (made to look like Casa Fagliano’s designs). It comes with a signed 20mm JLC buckle. It was produced in a limited numbers in 2011 to for the 80th anniversary of the Reverso.
I love this watch, and the Reverso overall. Learn more about my thoughts on these timepieces by reading My Top 10 Watches of All Time article.

IWC Mark XVIII Limited Edition HODINKEE Full Set
Originally released in the first quarter of 2019, the Mark XVIII was arguably one of the best received limited editions from HODINKEE to date. The highlight of the watch is most certainly the dial. While fauxtina can certainly have a polarizing effect, the custard superluminova hands were executed in a very naturalistic fashion.
Loosely based upon the 1948 Mark II and the 3705 Fliegerchronograph from the early 2000s, HODINKEE sought to create a modern IWC that would attract the vintage audience and ultimately be sentimental in the eyes of true enthusiasts.
The case is made of Ceratanium (a combination of ceramic and titanium). It measures in at 39mm (46mm lug-to-lug). The watch is in mint condition and comes with its original box and papers.
Rolex Datejust Reference 16014 Linen Dial Unpolished
I absolutely love steel Rolex Datejusts. I recently wrote about them in our blog ‘Don't Sleep On This: The Simple Vintage Rolex Datejust In Steel’. I’m constantly amazed by the quality and differentiations of the dials that Rolex used in vintage Datejusts over the decades. I have found the Rolex Datejust to be one of the most versatile watches a person can have. This 16014 is no exception. The “linen” dial is one of my favorite Datejust dials, as it is so attractive and special. The watch dates to 1983 and features a 7.4M serial. The case measures 36mm in diameter and is paired on its original bracelet.
