Rolex Sector Dial Pocket Watch in 18K Yellow Gold w/ Box Unpolished

It is not often that we see amazing pocket watches by Rolex, so this is a great opportunity for a connoisseur of the manufacturer! This Rolex pocket watch is an incredible timepiece. It dates to circa 1940. The case is 18k yellow gold. We believe it is unpolished. It features a beautiful sector dial with Arabic numerals. The hands are super attractive and were heated to an elegant blue color.

Heuer Monaco Reference 1133B On MK 2 NSA Bracelet Unpolished

The Heuer Monaco was introduced in 1969 with the first automatic chronograph movement, the calibre 11. Coupled by the association of Steve McQueen’s decision to wear the watch in the film ‘Le Mans’, the watch is nothing short of iconic. This example is in phenomenal condition. We believe the case is unpolished. The dial is super attractive. In addition, it is paired on the MK II Heuer bracelet made by NSA. It dates to circa 1970.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Reference E 853 Unpolished

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox reference E 853 is one of my favorite watches of all time. This example dates to the late 1950s. The case measures 37mm in diameter and wears excellent. We believe the case is unpolished. The luminous hands are a slightly different color to that on the dial, but appear to be original. I have found the reference E 853 to be quite hard to model to locate nice examples. The E 855 is also tricky to find nice models, but the no-date variant is just a bit more tricky.

The watch is powered by the calibre 815, automatic alarm wristwatch. The movement is a bumper-automatic, which means it does not rotate a full 360 degrees. Instead, the oscillating weight will bounce back and forth between two spring sides within the movement. The reference’s “E” stands for Etanche, which indicates the case is a water-resistant model.

Along with the Atmos clock and Reversos, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s advancements in alarm timepieces throughout the 20th century are certainly one of the most iconic genres from the Le Sentier manufacturer.

To learn more about the subsequent model, read Charlie Dunne’s Collector's Guide: Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Reference E 855.

The watch does not come with box or papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well and keeping good time.

This example is very nice. My personal Memovox went missing in transit for well over a month, and I bought this one along with another E 855 for my personal collection. I was astonished that I found two incredible examples in such a short time. Ironically, my E 855 was returned in a lost package before this one arrived. I can’t keep both, so whoever gets this one is buying a Memovox I bought to personally wear for the rest of my life. Hopefully, that is decent context to how much I like this Memovox.
