Enicar Sherpa reference 140/013
This is a very nice example of a mid 60’s Enicar Sherpa. The dial shows an even beautiful champagne-colored patina throughout, has applied baton and Arabic numeral hour-markers, and features a date function. The watch also has luminous hands and indexes. One interesting feature of vintage Enicar watches is that the lume at 12-3-6-9 (or just 12-6-9 in this case) is placed on the perimeter of the dial, but on the inside of the rest of the markers, making a diamond when the lume is glowing at night. The watch was recently serviced by the legendary Alkis Kotsopolous, a watchmaker in New York City.
This watch is from circa 1964, does not include box or papers, has a manual-wind movement (Caliber AR 1141), and is 34.5mm in diameter.
