F.P.Journe Octa Automatique Reserve in Platinum with Brass Movement Full Set

F.P.Journe has become one of the most sought after and beloved independent watchmakers. Mr. Journe is one of the most significant watchmakers of the past century and the Chronomètre à Résonance is arguably his most iconic model.

This Octa Automatique Reserve in platinum measures 38mm (45mm lug-to-lug) and remains unpolished. It features a brass movement which can be found in early Journe timepieces and is highly sought after by collectors. This white gold dial has developed a sensational and shimmery patina, which is the charm of these early Journe watches.

This watch comes from the original owner and it is full set with the original box, papers and receipt. He purchased it for $18,000 from Kenjo. To the best of our knowledge, it has not been serviced. It will likely need to be serviced at some point in the near future.
