Heuer Autavia Jochen Rindt Reference 2446 w/ Racing Provenance

The Heuer Autavia is recognized by collectors as one of the great sports chronographs of the 1960s. Along with many of its contemporaries of the era, it is powered by the Valjoux 72. Nicknamed the “Jochen Rindt” for its association with the German Formula One driver, the reference 2446 is regarded as one of the great Heuer racing chronographs.

This example was previously owned and worn by a racing car aficionado Richard Milner. The watch comes with a great array of photographs and a signed letter from Milner.

The lugs are a very fluid design, tapering down toward the wrist. It is lightly polished. The dimensions are 38mm with a height of 13mm.

The watch does not come with box and papers. The service history is unknown, but it is running well.
