Heuer Carrera Tropical Reference 2447SNT Unpolished w/ Box/Papers

The Heuer Carrera is one of the legendary chronograph designs of the 20th century. Featuring stark angled lugs that were a product of the architecture of the 1960s. You can read more about the origins of the Carrera in the in-depth article that I wrote back in 2013.

This example is a very rare reference 2447 SNT (Silver/White dial, Noir/Black Registers, and Tachymeter) dial. The subdials have developed a beautiful tropical color. The watch is powered by the manual-wind Valjoux calibre 72. The case very strong and appears to be unpolished. It is paired on a Gay Freres bracelet.

The watch comes with box and papers. It was serviced by Grand Central Watch in late 2023 and is running well.
