Ikepod "Red" Manatee "New Old Stock & Full Set"

This watch is a very interesting Marc Newson design which incorporates a world time complication. As Newson was a key member of the Apple Watch design team, there is a direct through line from the design of this watch, released in the early 2000s, to the early Apple Watches (strap, case shape/design, and crystal are all nearly identical). Separately, Newson and many members of the Ikepod team were avid scuba divers, thus the group chose to donate portions of the proceeds from the sale of the watches to manatee species awareness. Ikepod manufactured 9,999 Manatee’s across 4 colorways (red, blue, white, and yellow) and each example is individually serialized. The case measures 34mm wide and 40mm in length. The watch is in “new old stock” condition and is “full set” with box and papers.
