LeCoultre Polaris Reference E 859

The Polaris is perhaps one of the most legendary dive watches, and it began production by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1965. This version is the sportier version made in 1967/1968 with more lume on the dial. The dial is signed simple “LeCoultre” for the American market while European market models are signed “Jaeger-LeCoultre”. The case is made by Ervin Piquerez (EPSA) and remains unpolished. The caseback features a superb engraving of the former owner’s initials “E.J.B.”.

It is paired with the extremely rare and desirable 22mm bracelet made by J.B. Champion in the United States that was presumably born on the watch. The clasp is also engraved. This watch is from circa 1969, and is powered by the automatic Calibre K825 made by Jaeger LeCoultre

The watch does not come with box or papers.
