Patek Philippe Pocket Watch
I’m thrilled to offer this spectacular Patek Philippe pocket watch. The case features a beautiful monogram on the caseback, and commemorative engraving to Ancel H. Brower from Blanchard Press Inc. dating to July 30, 1924.
The watch was a gift from Isaac H. Blanchard to Ancel Brower and Brower’s retirement also appears to have coincided with when Blanchard Press sold its building, The J. W. Dimick Building - Nos. 268-270 Canal Street in Manhattan, to the New York Edison Company. As such, it is a remarkable piece of New York real estate history as well as printing press history from that era.
The watch measures 45mm in diameter and is 11mm thick. The watch does not include box and papers. It comes with the Extract from The Archives.
