Patek Philippe Reference 1560-1 in 18K Yellow Gold
This Patek Philippe reference 1560-1 is a special timepiece with great provenance. It comes from the family of the original owner. The watch was owned by Marshall Field Jr. of Marshall Field & Company or Marshall Field's. Marshall Field's was a famous retail department store which would later be acquired by Macy’s. Interestingly, Marshall Field Junior’s father was a noteworthy Patek Philippe collector. The watch is fresh to market and is an exciting find for any Patek Philippe collector!
It is a rectangular model powered by the important calibre 9’90. It features beautiful applied Breguet numerals. The watch dates to circa 1950. The case measures 22mm by 38mm. The case has been lightly polished.
The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
