Piaget Polo Reference 7661 C 701 in 18k Yellow and White Gold

This Piaget Polo reference 7661 C 701 is an incredible timepiece with a stunning dial. There is a good chance the brand will re-release a model like this within the next year. When this occurs, expect to see examples in this condition be extremely hot and go up in value. Charlie Dunne personally feels this watch is very good look, as he was recently pulled over for egregiously speeding through West Palm Beach wearing a similar model and managed to not get a horrendous ticket! Perhaps the officer thought so too?

The watch is powered by a quartz movement. The case and bracelet is made of 18K yellow and white gold. It may have been lightly polished, but is very strong. The watch measures 34mm in diameter. The bracelet is in awesome condition and can for a wrist as big as 7.4 inches.

The Piaget Polo was the watch for stylish members of high society as well as car dealers in the 1980s. Famous actress and Bond girl Ursula Andress reportedly helped put the watch on the map when she wore it during the World Polo Cup in the 1980s outside Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida. It’s often a watch seen on the wrists of moneyed Palm Beach residents who bought them new in the 1980s or who inherited them from their parents.
