WatchPro: Eric Wind Invests in TrueDome Watch Crystal Business

Rob Corder of WatchPro covered Eric Wind’s investment in TrueDome LLC, a company that makes high-quality crystals for vintage watches, especially vintage Rolex watches.

Eric stated, “Many vintage Rolex watches have replaced crystals that differ in shape from the crystals originally found on them and this can have a very negative impact on the watch’s appearance. Poor aftermarket crystals also are more prone to cracking, clouding, and warping, meaning that the valuable original dials could be at risk from moisture ingress or other damage, which could affect the value of certain vintage watches by six figures USD.”

There are three equity holders in TrueDome LLC: Dr. Greg Petronzi (the founder), Ron Petronzi, and Eric Wind. Dr. Petronzi purchased out two other investors last year prior to Eric Wind investing.
