HODINKEE: Eric Wind Quoted on Albino Rolex Dials

In Tony Traina’s latest article ‘What’s The Deal With ‘Albino’ Rolex Dials?’ Eric Wind is quoted on the rare white dial variants.

"We've seen true prototype dials, especially for Daytonas," Eric Wind of Wind Vintage said. "But it doesn't make sense that these would be test dials." If they were true tests or prototypes, there wouldn't have been much of a reason to finish the dials, complete with that Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified text at 6 o'clock.“
