Robb Report: Eric Wind Quoted on Vintage Rolex Air-King
Allen Farmelo and Gareth Munden recently wrote for Robb Report ‘A Collector’s Guide to the Rolex Air-King, From 1945 to Present’.’ Within the article Eric Wind is quoted.
We have seen mention of an Air-King 6652 in various articles and forums, but we can’t find anything to confirm these claims. As far as we know the 6652 was never produced as an Air-King. Rolex expert Eric Wind told Robb Report, “I don’t remember seeing a 6652 ever and have never had one, so I don’t have much to contribute. Perhaps it was a myth or urban legend that just kept repeating over the years.”
