Rolex Chapter Ring PCG GMT-Master Reference 1675
The Rolex GMT-Master was originally designed for Pan Am pilots in the 1950s and continues to be a flagship model for Rolex to this day. The reference 1675 was introduced in 1959 and remained in production until 1980.
This is an awesome and very early pointed crown guard or “PCG” case GMT-Master reference 1675. It feautres a 623,XXX serial number dating to early circa 1960-1961. The case has been lightly polished, but it is nice. The aluminum bezel insert is extremely attractive. The gilt chapter-ring dial and luminous material are beautiful. The watch is paired on a later C&I Rolex bracelet dating to 1976.
We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It does not come with box and papers. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
