Rolex Datejust Reference 6305 in 18K Gold
The Datejust is one of the greatest watches introduced in 1945. While we’ve highlighted the great value in steel Datejusts in our past article ‘Don't Sleep On This: The Simple Vintage Rolex Datejust In Steel’, models such as this 1953 18K yellow gold example are just divine. This example has the distinct red numerals in the date window complementing the faded “Officially” text on the dial which has developed a beautiful patina. Additionally, it has remarkable “dagger” markers and “alpha” hands.
The 18K gold case is lightly polished, but has a great impression on the wrist. It measures 36mm in diameter and 44mm lug-to-lug. The case back in engraved with the name C.V. WYLIE. The watch is paired on a very crisp Jubilee bracelet dating to the 2nd quarter of 1953.
I’m thrilled to be offering such an awesome watch that will surely be a favorite in the next owner’s collection!
The watch does not come with box and papers.
