Rolex Daytona Reference 6263 in 18K Yellow Gold Full Set

The Daytona reference 6263 in gold with a black dial and black acrylic bezel is one of the most desirable vintage Rolex models. This example features an 18k yellow gold case. It has been polished in the past, but is very attractive. The watch measures approximately 37mm in diameter.

These are among the least common 4-digit Rolex Daytonas, so finding a great example in gold is quite the hunt. The bracelet is a Rolex reference 7205 with 71 end links which are correct. It features an F date code dating to circa 1981. This bracelet would be valued at around $20,000-$25,000 with these end links and are extremely hard to find.

The black acrylic bezel appears to be original and is in great condition while the crown and pushers appear to be the original 18k gold and the pushers are the correct Mark 2 pushers for this serial range.

The watch dates to circa 1979 with a 5.9M serial. It comes with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It features a D21 TrueDome crystal which looks fantastic. The watch is fresh to market, and came from a collector who bought it from the original owner.
