Rolex Mosaic Date Reference 1500 Retailed by Tiffany & Co.

This Rolex Date is an outstanding example with a “mosaic” or “shantung” dial double signed by Tiffany & Co. On top of the special dial details, it has a very pure case back engraving commemorating “May 23, 1970”. The case is strong and appears to be lightly polished. Finding a “Mosaic” dial with Tiffany & Co. signature is incredibly rare and I’ve only seen one other example.

The watch has a 2.58M serial number dating to circa 1970. It is paired on an Oyster bracelet dated to 1969.

The watch does not come with box and papers.
