Rolex "Paul Newman" Daytona 6239

Those vintage Rolex Daytonas garnering the nickname "Paul Newman" due to their exotic dials made by Singer with small boxes in the registers are some of the most iconic and desirable vintage watches that exist. The present watch is one of the most desirable versions, a reference 6239 features a white dial. In addition, it includes the original papers and box as well as a previous service guarantee from Rolex. The original owner decided to sell the watch given how valuable it had become since he purchased it new. Interestingly, this watch features a serial number very close to Paul Newman’s own Paul Newman Daytona that sold for approximately $17.8 million at auction in 2017. This watch came from the original owner and features an unpolished steel bezel, a very lightly polished case, and a spectacular dial with original hands.
