Rolex “Root Beer” GMT-Master 1675

This Rolex “Root Beer” GMT-Master reference 1675 (also referred to as a 1675/3 due to being two-tone) is an attractive watch. It dates to circa 1977-1978 with a 5.11 million serial. The case has been polished in the past. It is paired on an oval link made in USA by JB Champion Rolex bracelet, which is stretched and could benefit from a restoration. One end link is numbered 50 for a GMT-Master, while the other is unnumbered and for a two-tone Datejust. The matte brown “nipple” dial and insert are very attractive, although the insert seems to possibly be replaced, and it is a very cool vintage watch.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but is it running well. The watch just passed a water resistance test of 3 bar.
