Rolex Sea-Dweller Reference 1665 Unpolished

I’m thrilled to be offering this Sea-Dweller reference 1665. The dial features the nicest orangish-yellow lume color I have ever seen on this reference. The watch comes from the original owner who was an engineer. He wore it around the world and the Middle East and he said it was a gift from a member of the royal family of Saudi Arabia, the House of Saud, in 1981 to him for his work on their oil system.

The case has never been polished and I don’t believe it had ever been opened until it came into my possession. It was recently serviced and is running great.

The crystal is a True Dome D39, which was just added by Dr. Greg Petronzi since the original crystal is very crazed. The lug-to-lug length is 47mm and it measures 40mm in diameter excluding the crown. The photos of the case reflect more of the true color of the lume.

The watch does not come with box and papers.
