Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 Unpolished
This Rolex Submariner is an incredible vintage example. The reference 5513 is an iconic sports watch which was introduced in circa 1962. This example is unpolished. The Sub comes from the original owner and is paired on its original Rolex 7206 bracelet with the correct 80 end links dating to 1967.
Richard N Anderson of the US Navy purchased it while stationed in Germany in 1968 at Bitburg, it was his work watch while he bought a Rolex Zephyr as his dress watch with the same “R.N.A.” engraving on the clasp.
The watch has been tested to be water resistant and it recently went through a full service with True Patina. It features a 1.52M serial dating to late 1966. It features what is possibly the original bezel insert with s an awesome faded grey appearance and a TrueDome D19 crystal.
