Vintage Rolex Prince Reference 1343
Absent of any external branding or coronet, this Rolex Prince could easily be mistaken for a “regular” watch from the 1930s to the untrained eye. However, to those that understand and appreciate the storied history of the Genevan watchmaker this timepiece is a testament to the earlier, more refined chapter of the brand’s catalogue.
Unfortunately, Rolex Princes are almost always found in a compromised state due to a common practice in the 1980s and 1990s where collectors would have the dials redone. So when a beautifully preserved example like this appears, it is truly a special occasion. The dial remains unrestored and had developed a gorgeous patina over the years.
I am extremely proud to offer this exceptional Art Deco timepiece for sale, as they rarely surface in such a state.
