Vulcain Cricket with Solid 14K Gold Case

This Vulcain Cricket is among the early styles produced alongside models like the “LBJ” dial Crickets. This particular example features a very special case that is the same model that President Harry Truman who I highlighted in 2014 within my article on HODINKEE ‘The Complete Guide To The Watches Of United States Presidents‘.

The case remains unpolished and measures 34mm in diameter. The case was made by Wadsworth in 14K solid gold and features drilled lugs. It features a signed “V” crown and is paired with an 18mm “honey” Wind Vintage strap made by Nick Gabarro.

The dial is non-luminous and features applied Arabic and dagger numerals. It also features the applied brand and model name along with dauphine hands. The decimal track features 10, 30, and 50 increments.

The watch is powered by the calibre 120, and has an exceptional voice when the alarm is engaged.
