Patek Philippe Nautilus Reference 5711/1A-010 "Full Set"

The Patek Philippe Nautilus is perhaps the most desired watch on the planet. The introduction of the model marked the first true sports watch from the manufacturer in 1976. Along with the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, it ushered in the world of integrated stainless steel watches which are adored by watch enthusiasts today. This particular model is a reference 5711/1A-010 dating to 2008. The watch comes from the second owner. It is thankfully unpolished and features only minimal scratches on the bezel.

The watch comes with the original box and papers, as well as additional links that are original to the watch.

Jaeger-LeCoultre 18K Gold Memovox Reference E853

Along with the Atmos clocks, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s advancements in alarm timepieces throughout the 20th century are certainly one of the most iconic genres from the Le Sentier manufacturer. The reference’s “E” stands for Etanche, which indicates the case is a water-resistant model.

The watch is powered by the calibre 815, automatic alarm wristwatch. The movement is a bumper-automatic, which means it does not rotate a full 360 degrees. Instead, the oscillating weight will bounce back and forth between two spring sides within the movement.

The dial and hands feature radium lume. The 18K yellow gold case is unpolished, and in remarkable condition. I cannot imagine finding a better example in the forthcoming years!

Rolex Winn-Dixie “Truck Logo” Air-King Reference 5500 “10 Year Safe Driver” "Unpolished"

Some of the most interesting Rolex watches are the special “Winn-Dixie” models which were earned by long-term employees at the supermarket franchise. The “10 Year Safe Driver” watches were given to Winn-Dixie employees who had performed for a decade without any incidents while behind the wheel. The logo resembles the shape of a truck, and this has resulted in many mistakenly referring to it as the “Truck Logo”.

Introduced in circa 1957, the reference 5500 remained in production for over 30 years. The case measures 34mm in diameter (with a lug-to-lug length of 40mm). The lug width is 19 mm and the height is 12 mm including the crystal. Each reference 5500 will feature drilled lugs. This reference 5500 was produced in the 1980s. The case back features features original owner’s name engraving, but it has been scratched off.

The watch remains unpolished. The watch does not include box and papers.
