Rolex Daytona Reference 6263 in 14k Gold

The Daytona reference 6263 in gold with a black dial and black acrylic bezel is one of the most desirable vintage Rolex models, made even more special when it is in the rare and rosy 14k gold for the American market. This watch is in outstanding condition and the gold has developed a bit of oxidation making it even more of a rich rose gold color. The tritium luminous plots are in excellent condition and match the hands perfectly. The black acrylic bezel appears to be original and is in outstanding condition while the crown and pushers appear to be the original 14k gold and the pushers are the correct Mark 2 pushers for this serial range. The bracelet is also a Rolex reference 7205 and made of 14k gold.

The watch measures approximately 37mm in diameter. The serial number is 5.4 million, dating to circa 1978-1979. It does not have the original box and papers, but does have excellent provenance.
