Patek Philippe Reference 3970EP
The Patek Philippe reference 3970 is part of the legendary family of Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronographs. It is the successor to the cherished reference 2499 with its origin beginning in 1986. It would be produced over the course of the following two decades and remains one of the finest timepieces within the recent chapters of Patek Philippe’s history.
The platinum case is unpolished and the stepped lugs remain in strong condition. The lug width is 19mm. It is very uncommon to feature the silver-white dial in a platinum case (which is confirmed by the original documents it came with).
The movement is operated through the calibre 27-70 Q (which originates through the Lemania 2310). The pump pushers are incredibly satisfying when engaging the chronograph. This watch dates to 2004 and comes with its original box and papers.
AB Svenska Urdepoten “ASU” Chronograph
This AB Svenska Urdepoten (ASU) chronograph is a fantastic entry-level 1930s chronograph. The stainless steel case measures at 32mm in diameter (38mm lug-to-lug). The flat-surfaced bezel adds to the vintage charm. Although the case back does have a slight curve, it wears quite close to the wrist due to the tapered lugs. Great development of patina has altered the dial, and many of the painted numerals have faded slightly. Luckily it is faint enough to appreciate the fact several numeral styles and sizes can be seen throughout the complicated dial. Arabic-painted numerals are featured at the 9 o’clock subdial which measures 60 seconds. At 3 o’clock, one can see painted-Breguet numerals which indicate the 45-minute measurement take place upon activating the chronograph.
