Rolex Submariner Reference 1680 President José López Portillo of Mexico Unpolished

This Rolex Submariner reference 1680 is a great sports watch dating to circa 1978 with a 5.09M serial. This was the personal watch of the 51st President of Mexico (1976-1982), José Guillermo Abel López Portillo y Pacheco - and features the same personalized case back engraving which was seen on his GMT-Master reference 1675. The case appears to be unpolished. The dial, minute and hour hand all have the original lume which is a great pale yellow color. It is paired on a nice oval-link Rolex bracelet made in Mexico. The watch came from a member of his family through a dealer in Mexico. For those looking for an amazing 1680 with great povenance, this is a great choice!

LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm Reference E 857 Unpolished w/ Extract

The LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm Automatic reference E 857 is one of the most exciting vintage dive watches. These cases were made by Huguenin Frères and powered by the automatic alarm Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 815. This example has an incredibly attractive dial.

The watch was sent to JLC for a full service and JLC replaced the alarm crown (made to the specific dimensions of the original) and relumed the hour and minute hands. JLC also replaced the bezel insert with a service grey insert (with tritium), but the original insert is included with the watch. This example has an incredibly attractive dial. The dial and disc are original and unaltered. The case and case back are also unpolished and in amazing condition. This is one of my favorite watches available on the market, and an epic alternative diver. The watch dates to circa 1960.

Rolex 1/4 Century The T. Eaton Co. Limited Reference 6422 in 14K Yellow Gold Unpolished

I’m thrilled to offer this Rolex Oyster Perpetual reference 6422 with the special dial commemorating an employee’s 25 year anniversary at The T. Eaton Company Limited. Eaton was a Canadian department store chain that would later be acquired by Sears. We love earned watches and this example is particularly nice with the dial customized by Rolex to reflect a quarter century employee. The case back is decorated with the employee George E. Page’s name and dates of employment from 1933-1958. The 14K yellow-gold case is very attractive and measures 34mm in diameter. The case appears to be unpolished. The 274,XXX serial number dates this watch to circa 1957.

Rolex Double Red Sea-Dweller Reference 1665 Unpolished

The Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 1665 is one of the iconic dive watches, and according to Rolex it was produced in 22,038 examples. These watches are appreciated by collectors due to their depth rating and robust cases. This Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 1665 features the highly desired and vibrant "Double Red" dial. The aluminum bezel insert has faded to a beautiful grey color. The watch features a 5.28M serial dating to circa 1978. The case appears to be unpolished. it is paired on a nice service 9315 folded link bracelet with S date stamp and 380 end links which are correct.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. The watch was recently fitted with a True Dome crystal which looks outstanding.

Rolex GMT-Master Reference 1675 Unpolished w/ Papers & Receipts

This Rolex GMT-Master is a staple Rolex model that has an incredible history. It was designed for Pan Am pilots in the 1950`s to ensure that they could measure two time zones at once. This reference 1675 is a fantastic example. The case appears to be unpolished. The bezel insert is quite attractive with unique charm as it has been faded to a light pink. The dial is a “Mark 0.5” with Rolex letters featuring the “Long E”. It features the small triangle GMT hand. The watch dates to circa 1967 with a 1.62M serial. It was sold in 1968. It is paired on a nice Rolex 7206 Rivet bracelet dating to 1967 with 80 end links which are correct for the 1675. The lume on this example is super attractive and puffy.

Patek Philippe Reference 1560-1 in 18K Yellow Gold

This Patek Philippe reference 1560-1 is a special timepiece with great provenance. It comes from the family of the original owner. The watch was owned by Marshall Field Jr. of Marshall Field & Company or Marshall Field's. Marshall Field's was a famous retail department store which would later be acquired by Macy’s. Interestingly, Marshall Field Junior’s father was a noteworthy Patek Philippe collector. The watch is fresh to market and is an exciting find for any Patek Philippe collector!

It is a rectangular model powered by the important calibre 9’90. It features beautiful applied Breguet numerals. The watch dates to circa 1950. The case measures 22mm by 38mm. The case has been lightly polished.

Rolex Date Reference 1503 In 14K Yellow Gold

I’m thrilled to offer this Rolex Date reference 1503. The 14K yellow-gold case is very attractive and measures 34mm in diameter. It has been polished in the past. It is paired on the original 14k yellow gold Rivet bracelet which is rare and hard to find. The 2.32 serial number dates this watch to circa 1970.

Patek Philippe Reference 570 in 18K Yellow Gold w/ Extract

The Patek Philippe reference 570 is one of the most refined and sought-after dress watches, and an iconic model within the Calatrava family. This specific watch is a reference 570 in yellow gold. It features a non-luminous dial with applied-dauphine hour markers. The case has been lightly polished in the past. For those looking for an elegant dress watch, this is a great option.

This watch does not include the original box and paper. It is powered by the Caliber 27 SC manual-wind movement made by Patek Philippe. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.

Rolex Mk 1 Frog Foot Dial Explorer I Reference 1016 on Jubilee

Introduced in 1960 an icon was born in the Rolex Explorer reference 1016. The 1016 was produced until circa 1989. The ref. 1016 marked the first Explorer with “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" printed on the dial. It is one of the most desired timepieces and for great reason. The 1016 is one of the purest expressions of watch design and for this reason that I am probably asked for vintage Explorer reference 1016s more than any other watch.

This example features an 1.58M serial dating it to circa 1967. The case is polished and measures 36mm in diameter (43mm lug-to-lug). It features the original Mark 1 frog foot dial. It is paired on a Rolex Jubilee bracelet. The lume is extremely puffy and attractive.

Heuer Monaco Chronomatic Reference 1133 Unpolished

The Heuer Monaco was introduced in 1969 with the first automatic chronograph movement, the calibre 11. Coupled by the association of Steve McQueen’s decision to wear the watch in the film ‘Le Mans’, the watch is nothing short of iconic.

This Heuer Monaco Chronomatic reference 1133 is one of the earliest examples known. It is a rare variant with the “Chronomatic” font and luminous earlier hand set.

We believe the case is unpolished. The dial has developed a unique patina with the brass dial reacting through the blue paint. The watch dates to 1969. The Heuer Monaco is actually quite a rare model and we are seeing more collectors recognize the reference 1133 as a staple within the vintage chronograph collection. For those looking for one of the earliest examples of a historically important model, this is an incredible watch.

Rolex Two-Tone Zenith Daytona Reference 16523

This is a super cool two-tone Zenith Daytona reference 16523. It has a W serial dating it to circa 1995. The “Zenith Daytonas” have appreciated significantly the last few years as people respect the modified Zenith El Primero movements that Rolex used for their first automatic Daytonas starting in 1988. The case is polished. It measures 40mm in diameter (46mm lug-to-lug).

Rolex Green Oyster Perpetual 126000 Unpolished Box & Papers

This Rolex Oyster Perpetual is a very collectible watch due to its green dial. For many months, this was one of the hottest, non-sport Rolex models. This watch has a steel case and comes on a steel oyster bracelet. It measures 36mm in diameter. The watch was sold in 2021. The watch is in exceptional condition.

The watch comes full set. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.

Dunhill Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Reference E 855 W/ Papers

This is the highly elusive and rare Dunhill Memovox E 855 sold in New York during the 1960s. Very few examples are known to exist. This example dates to circa late 1960s. The case has been lightly polished. The case measures 37mm in diameter and wears excellent. The dial has a very sophisticated painted Breguet numerals and a white dial. The watch features service crowns.

The watch is powered by the calibre 825, the first automatic alarm wristwatch to incorporate the calendar complication. The movement is a bumper-automatic, which means it does not rotate a full 360 degrees. Instead, the oscillating weight will bounce back and forth between two spring sides within the movement.

Along with the Atmos clocks, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s advancements in alarm timepieces throughout the 20th century are certainly one of the most iconic genres from the Le Sentier manufacturer. Perhaps the quintessential Memovox is the reference E 855 from the 1960s. The reference’s “E” stands for Etanche, which indicates the case is a water-resistant model.

Certina Argonaut 280 on Bracelet Unpolished

The Certina Argonaut 280 is an incredibly cool and stylish vintage watch. It presents great value for everyone and has a fantastic case design. It measures 37mm in diameter (40mm lug-to-lug). The watch dates to the 1970s. It features a very rare red dial and is paired on an NSA bracelet signed Certina.

Cartier Rotonde de Cartier Jour et Nuit Ref 28731 CPCP Full Set

This Cartier Rotonde de Cartier Jour et Nuit reference 28731 is a sophisticated and complicated Cartier timepiece. The watch dates to circa 2008. It is powered by the calibre 9903 MC. The 18k white gold case measures 42mm in diameter. The case appears to be unpolished.

It comes with box and papers. We do not know the service history but it is running well.

Heuer Carrera Reference 2447S on Gay Freres Bracelet

This Heuer Carrera reference 2447S is a cool chronograph paired on a Gay Freres bracelet for Heuer. The case has been polished. The watch is powered by the Valjoux calibre 72. It has a 77,XXX serial number dating to the mid 1960s. The dial and hands have attractive lume. The crown appears to be a service crown.

Heuer Orange Boy Autavia Reference 1163 Unpolished

This Heuer “Orange Boy” Autavia reference 1163 is great model and the Orange Boy is one of the most exciting and attractive dial variants within the reference 1163. The watch is in great condition. The case appears to be unpolished.

This watch does not include the original box and papers, has an automatic movement (Caliber 11 made by Heuer-Léonidas), and is 42mm in diameter. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.

Heuer Camaro AARC Reference 9220N on Gay Freres Bracelet Unpolished

Heuer is renowned for its rich history with automotive racing, and one of the great models from the golden age of the brand is the Camaro. The Camaro line has always been a sleeper when compared to the more discussed siblings such as the Autavia and Carrera.

This particular reference 9220N is a very special example with provenance being won at the 1967 American Road Race of Champions! The dial is in fantastic condition. The watch is paired on a Gay Freres Bracelet with HLA end links - which was added later - and is significantly hard to find. The watch is powered by the Valjoux 92.

It does come with a catalog and ticket from the 1967 American Road Race of Champions which were added subsequently for those who appreciate the associated ephemera. The Rolex Day-Date was introduced in 1956 and was the first watch to display the date, as well as the fully-spelled-out day of the week. This particular example dates to circa 1979 with a 5.95M serial.
